Julia Zoooi, born in Leipzig, is a Berlin based commercial photographer. She studied at the well known Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie in Berlin and has been working as a freelance photographer since graduating in 2014. Her work focuses on bold, colorful and people driven imagery for advertising and lifestyle campaigns, with a strong eye for composition, color and visual storytelling.

She is especially interested in creating modern visual worlds in collaboration with brands and agencies, always centered around people, energy and strong visual ideas. Her images are shaped by a clear contemporary aesthetic and a direct, vibrant visual language. Julia’s approach is intuitive and concept driven at the same time, balancing spontaneity on set with a strong visual direction. She is drawn to capturing authentic presence and moments that feel real, alive and visually striking.

Alongside her commissioned work, she photographs friends, her travels and everyday moments, often working with analog point & shoot cameras. Drawn to imperfection, she is interested in the subtle oddities of daily life and the details that are easy to miss.
